Remember Who You Are
Can you recall being so immersed in an activity that time flew? When you experienced no past and no future? When you were so connected to the moment that time actually disappeared altogether? In those moments you were immersed and experiencing flow.
In the flow state, we know that there is more fulfillment and pleasure to be found than in measuring external success, approval or material gratification. In the flow state our brains engage six powerful neurotransmitters: dopamine, endorphins, norepinephrine, serotonin, anandamide and oxytocin. During a flow state, you can feel deeply content, relaxed and connected to yourself and the activity in which you are immersed.
At the core of your KaiFlow experience are timed daily flow state sessions. The Game Immersions. A short breathing will drop you into the alpha-theta brain state, where deep and profound creativity is possible. In this state, anxiety and self-doubt fall away. You are inside every moment. With each moment expanding, possibility can occur as infinite.
You will drop in from your Guiding Principle with a clear intention for your game and let go of all attachment to outcomes.
Preparation
Schedule your Game Immersion in a quiet, safe space where you will not be interrupted. Honour yourself by setting up your Game Immersion with great care, as if you are preparing for a V.I.P. to arrive. You are. The immersing and emerging you.
Set a clear intention for the time - so it is outside of what you think is usually possible.
Find a balance between challenge and skill (too challenging for your skill creates anxiety, not challenging enough creates boredom).
You may do research pre the Game Immersion.
Choose your immersion length from the audios: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 or 60 minutes. The time you choose should be approx. 30% less than you estimate it would usually take for this activity. E.g. If you think it would normally take 30 minutes for your activity, choose a 20-minute Game Immersion. For a one-hour activity, choose the 40-minute Game Immersion. Play with this.
